Patio Interactive x TD Bank

During my third year of University, I had the opportunity to work with a group of classmates and Patio Interactive to prototype an interactive training game for TD Bank employees. The subject of the game was Cross-Border Banking, where the players (TD Bank employees) would be tested on their knowledge of the Cross-Border Banking program through a series of tests. I had initially proposed the “gamification” of this test in order to engage employees and create a more memorable, and meaningful interaction with our application.

As the lead designer and programmer of the application, I conceptualized a skeleton version of the game using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Flash) in order to simulate several scenarios of customers needing assistance with Cross-Border Banking. I was in charge of designing the preliminary graphics, creating the user journey and storyboards, and programming the application through Flash. The end product was a working prototype of the game-application which served as the foundation for Patio Interactive’s project.
